THE IONIZING DEDUSTING SYSTEM FOR FFS MACHINES

    FORM

    Article 1/3

FFS (Form, Fill, Seal) machines are used for automated product packaging in a wide range of industries: agri-food industry, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, etc.

    Machine FFS

    Risks of film contamination

Initially, the machine thermoforms containers (pots, trays, doypacks, etc.) from rolls of plastic film or other packaging materials. Static electricity on the film can attract harmful particles to the material.

This dust can have several consequences:

    • Packaging defects
    • Premature wear
    • Non-compliance with health and safety standards

All these factors can have a direct impact on the quality of the finished product and on process optimization.

    Our solution

We design and manufacture a customized ionizing dedusting system. This equipment eliminates pollutants up to 7 mm in diameter. This ionizing dust collector is used to extract “foreign bodies” such as shards of glass or plastic.

It combines 3 actions for optimum dust removal:

    • Mechanical force to separate particles from the substrate
    • Air ionization to eliminate electrostatic attraction
    • Suction to evacuate particles
    single-sided dusting
